Kneipp nettle tablets are a traditional herbal medicine that is used to support the excretory function of the kidneys.This product is registered for this area of application solely due to many years of use.No prescription is required for this product.
Active ingredients and ingredients
Each coated tablet contains 185 mg of nettle leaf powder and 35 mg of dry nettle leaf extract.The extract is made with water as an extractant.The preparation also contains the following excipients: highly disperse silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, corn starch, shellac, sucrose, spray-dried Arabic gum, glucose syrup, talc, calcium carbonate, macrogol 6000 and long-chain partial glycerides.
Areas of application
Kneipp nettle tablets are traditionally used to support the excretory function of the kidneys.The medicine is suitable for adults and adolescents aged 12 and over.
Application and dosage
The coated tablets are intended to be taken orally.Adults and adolescents aged 12 and over should take 1 to 2 tablets three times a day before meals with sufficient liquid, preferably a glass of water.To flush out, you should drink at least a quarter of a liter of liquid with each intake.It is traditionally used over a period of 2 to 4 weeks.If the symptoms do not improve after a week, you should see a doctor.
Contraindications and precautions
Kneipp Nettle Dragees must not be taken if you are known to be hypersensitive to nettle leaves or other components of the preparation, if you have reduced fluid intake, which is necessary, for example, in severe heart and kidney disease, or if you have water retention (edema) as a result of restricted heart and kidney activity.If you experience symptoms such as fever, pain when urinating, cramp-like pain or blood in the urine, you should see a doctor immediately.If symptoms of illness or other side effects persist, a doctor or other qualified person should be consulted.

To date, there are no known interactions with other medicines.However, the doctor or pharmacist should be informed if other medicines are taken.The widespread use of nettle as a food does not indicate any risks during pregnancy and breastfeeding.However, taking Kneipp nettle dragees is not recommended during this time.The medicine contains glucose and sucrose, so if you have intolerance to sugar, you should consult a doctor.
Side effects
