Instructions for use

Preparation: Ensure that the test cartridge and sample dilution are at room temperature (15°C to 27°C).Avoid contact of the stool sample with urine or toilet water as this may distort the test result.

Test execution:

1. Collect a stool sample in a clean, dry container that is free of detergents.The sample should be examined immediately and, if possible, not allowed to come into contact with urine or toilet water.For example, pick up the sample with a piece of toilet paper and place it in the container.

2. Remove the sample collection tube from the packaging and screw it on.Be careful not to spill the solvent.

3. Take samples from different parts of the stool using the applicator.Use the applicator until the ridged end is covered.

Evaluation of the test result

Positive result: The test result is positive if a light to dark red line can be seen in the control field (C) and a light or dark red line in the test field (T).This indicates that hidden blood was detected in the stool.For a definitive diagnosis you should consult a doctor.

Negative result: The test result is negative if a light to dark red line appears in the control field (C) and no red line can be seen in the test field (T).This means that no hidden blood was detected in the stool.If gastrointestinal complaints or other symptoms persist, further diagnostic evaluation by a doctor is required.

Invalid result: If no control line (C) or only one test line (T) is visible, the test did not run correctly and is invalid.Check whether you have followed all points in the instructions for use exactly.Perform a new test with a new stool sample.
