Instructions for use of Stannum D8/Succinum D8 aa eye drops

Stannum D8/Succinum D8 aa eye drops are a homeopathic medicine from the anthroposophical therapy direction.It is a registered homeopathic medicine, therefore no specific therapeutic indication is given.No prescription is required for this product.

Active ingredients

The eye drops contain the following active ingredients: Stannum metallicum praeparatum Dil.D8 aquos.(HAB, V. 6) 5 g and Succinum Dil.D8 aquos.5g per 10.2g (equivalent to 10ml).The other ingredients include boric acid, sodium tetraborate and potassium nitrate for isotonization as well as oligodynamic silver preservation.

Application and dosage

Before first use, the original closure should be torn open using the tab provided.The closed bottle should be briefly shaken upside down.After removing the protective cap, drops can be put into the eye by pressing on the rubber part.The protective cap should be pressed firmly back on immediately.The eye drops should be used within 4 weeks after first opening.The expiry date and opening date should be noted on the label and carton.The medicine should not be stored above 30°C and should be kept out of the reach of children.

Contraindications and precautions

There are no known contraindications.Before use, an examination by an ophthalmologist should be carried out.If you experience severe pain in the eye area, a sudden loss of vision or persistent, unclear symptoms, you should consult a doctor immediately.There is no adequately documented experience with use in children under 12 years of age, so the drug should not be used at this age.During pregnancy and breastfeeding, the medicine should only be used after consulting a doctor.

There are no known interactions with other medicines.There is also no information about side effects.If side effects occur, you should contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Information for contact lens wearers

The eye drops are compatible with contact lenses.However, some manufacturers recommend removing the lenses before using eye drops and only putting them back in after about 30 minutes.This recommendation should be taken into account as it may be related to the specific lens material.
