Magnesiocard forte 10 mmol Orange is a powder for oral solution.The active ingredient in this preparation is magnesium aspartate hydrochloride.It is used to treat magnesium deficiency conditions that do not require injection or infusion and where the deficiency is the cause of neuromuscular disorders or leg cramps.No prescription is required for this product.

Important information before taking

Magnesiocard forte 10 mmol Orange must not be taken if you are allergic to magnesium aspartate hydrochloride or any of the other ingredients.The product should also not be used if you have severe kidney dysfunction, a lack of fluids or a tendency to certain kidney stones.If you have impaired kidney function, you should consult your doctor before taking it.

Children under 14 years of age should receive lower dosage forms.Children under 4 years of age should only take the product after consulting a doctor.Tell your doctor or pharmacist about other medicines you are taking, as interactions are possible.Magnesiocard forte 10 mmol Orange can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Application and dosage

Always take Magnesiocard forte 10 mmol Orange exactly as directed.The usual dose for adults and adolescents over 14 years of age is 1 sachet 1-2 times daily, which corresponds to 243-486 mg of magnesium.The contents of one sachet should be mixed in half a glass of water, tea or fruit juice and drunk completely.It should be taken before meals to improve absorption.

The duration of use should be at least 4 weeks.Long-term use is harmless if kidney function is normal, as excess magnesium is excreted via the kidneys.In the event of an overdose, the side effects may increase.

Side effects

Storage
