Magnesiocard forte 10 mmol Orange is a powder for oral solution.The active ingredient in this preparation is magnesium aspartate hydrochloride.This medicine is used to treat magnesium deficiency states that require therapy and do not require an injection or infusion.It is particularly effective in cases of proven magnesium deficiency, which is the cause of muscle activity disorders such as neuromuscular disorders or leg cramps.

Important information before taking

Magnesiocard forte 10 mmol Orange must not be taken if you are hypersensitive to magnesium aspartate hydrochloride or any of the other ingredients of the preparation.The preparation should also not be used if there is severe kidney dysfunction with an inhibition of excretion or a lack of fluid in the body, or if there is a tendency to develop infectious stones (calcium-magnesium-ammonium phosphate stones).

Application and dosage

Always take Magnesiocard forte 10 mmol Orange exactly according to the instructions in this leaflet.The recommended average daily dose is 0.185 mmol magnesium (4.5 mg) per kg of body weight.In the case of chronic and severe acute magnesium deficiency, the daily dose can be safely increased to 0.37 mmol magnesium (9 mg) per kg of body weight until the deficiency is eliminated, provided there are no contraindications.The usual dose for adults and adolescents over 14 years of age is 1 sachet 1-2 times daily, corresponding to 243 - 486 mg magnesium.

Side effects

Storage
