This anthroposophical medicine is used for diseases of the digestive organs.It serves to stimulate the organization of heat and sensation in the metabolic system and can help with indigestion, bile dysfunction, constipation and flatulence.

Active ingredients and ingredients

One soft capsule contains the following active ingredients: 54.9 mg Berberis e radice W 10%, 0.0305 mg Chelidonium majus e radice ferm 34b, 0.061 mg Chelidonium majus ex herba ferm 34b, 0.0915 mg Cichorium e planta tota ferm 33c, 0.0915 mg Citrullus colocynthisferm 33a, 9.15 mg caraway oil, 45.75 mg cod liver oil, 457.5 mg linseed oil, 9.15 mg peppermint oil, 45.75 mg virgin castor oil, 18.3 mg star anise oil and 183 mg wheat germ oil.The capsule also contains the active ingredient complex Berberis/Chelidonium comp.Gelatin, glycerol, cocoa butter, virgin olive oil and purified water are included as excipients.

Contraindications

The medicine should not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding.It must also not be used if you are known to be hypersensitive to star anise, aniseed, anethole, caraway oil, peppermint oil, chicory and other daisy plants, or if you are cross-allergic to umbelliferous plants.

Dosage and intake

Unless otherwise prescribed, you should take 1 soft capsule with liquid 2 to 3 times a day with or after meals.Treatment of an acute illness should be completed after 2 weeks.If there is no improvement within 2 to 5 days, you should see a doctor.In the case of chronic illnesses, the duration of treatment must be agreed with a doctor.If used for more than 4 weeks, liver function values should be checked.

Patient information

If you have a history of liver disease and/or simultaneous use of liver-damaging substances, the medicine should only be used after consulting your doctor.If you are known to have gallstone disease, jaundice, dark urine or fever, as well as if you have persistent, unclear or new symptoms, you should consult a doctor.There is no adequately documented experience with the use of the preparation in children, therefore it should not be used in children under 12 years of age.
