Ringer's acetate solution B. Braun infusion solution is a solution for the intravenous administration of fluid and electrolytes.It is used as a fluid and electrolyte replacement when the acid-base balance is balanced and in cases of mild acidification of the blood, as a short-term intravascular volume replacement, in isotonic or hypotonic dehydration and as a carrier solution for suitable electrolyte concentrates and medications.No prescription is required for this product.

Active ingredients

The active ingredients of Ringer's acetate solution B. Braun infusion solution are sodium chloride, potassium chloride, calcium chloride 2 H20, magnesium chloride 6 H20 and sodium acetate 3 H20.The solution also contains water for injections.

Application

Ringer's acetate solution B. Braun is administered by a doctor or healthcare professional using a venous drip.The recommended dose, the maximum infusion rate and the maximum daily dose are determined by the attending physician.The dosage depends on the patient's fluid and electrolyte needs.
