What is Stibium metallicum praeparatum and what is it used for? - Stibium metallicum praeparatum is an anthroposophical medicinal product for the treatment of diseases of the digestive organs, skin diseases and diseases of the respiratory organs. - Indications: - Stimulation of the formative processes in the anabolic metabolism in ulcerative-inflammatory changes in the gastrointestinal tract and on the skin, haemorrhages. - Allergic and catarrhal conditions of the upper airways - Additional treatment for bronchial asthma, cardiac arrhythmias, impulse and memory disorders, mood disorders. 2. What must you take into account before taking Stibium metallicum praeparatum? - Contraindications: None known. - Precautions for use: Consult a doctor if symptoms persist for a long time or are unclear. - Children: Stibium metallicum praeparatum triturations should not be used on infants under 1 year of age. - Pregnancy and breast-feeding: Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use during pregnancy and breast-feeding. - Interactions with other medicinal products: None known. How should Stibium metallicum praeparatum be taken? - It should be taken exactly as prescribed by the doctor. - Usual dose for children from 1 year, adolescents and adults: Single dose: D4: 1 measuring spoonful of powder; D6 - D30: 1 pinch of powder. - Frequency of use: - Triturations D4, D6: 1 - 3 times daily. - Trituration D10: 1 - 2 times daily - Triturations D20, D30: 1 time daily - Allow the trituration to dissolve in the mouth or take with some liquid. - The appropriate potency level is selected by the doctor according to the clinical picture and prescribed individually. - Do not use for longer than 4 weeks without medical advice. - Forgotten dose: Do not take a double dose.
