Directions for use of Stibium Met. Praeparatum D 20 Trituration: Indications: According to anthroposophical knowledge of man and nature, it stimulates the formative processes in the anabolic metabolism, e.g. in ulcerative-inflammatory changes in the gastrointestinal tract and on the skin, and in haemorrhages. It is also used for the treatment of allergic and catarrhal conditions of the upper respiratory tract, as an additional treatment for bronchial asthma, cardiac arrhythmia, disturbances of drive and memory and moods. Contraindications: None known. Precautions: Consult a doctor if symptoms persist or are unclear. Do not use in infants in the first year of life. Ask a doctor or pharmacist for advice before use during pregnancy and breast-feeding. No interactions with other medicinal products known. Persons with known intolerance to certain sugars should not take the medicinal product. Dosage: The recommended dosage for children from 1 year, adolescents and adults varies depending on the potency level. The trituration should be melted in the mouth or taken with some liquid. The maximum recommended duration of use is 4 weeks. Side effects: There are no known side effects. If side effects occur, contact a doctor or pharmacist. Side effects can also be reported to the Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices. Storage: Do not use the medicine after the expiry date. Keep at a storage temperature below 25°C.
