Information for use with the article Heumann Bladder and Kidney Tea Solubitrate Uro: - Indications: For flushing in inflammatory diseases of the draining urinary tract and as a preventive measure against kidney gravel. - Important information: Read all of this leaflet carefully before you start using this medicine. Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. - Dosage and directions for use: Adolescents aged 12 years and over and adults should drink 1.2 g (1 measuring spoonful) 3-5 times daily. The duration of use should not exceed 5 days. - Contraindications: The medicine should not be used if you are hypersensitive to the ingredients or suffer from diseases requiring reduced fluid intake. It should also not be used in cases of oedema due to impaired heart or kidney function. Children under 12 years of age should not take the medicine. - Side effects: Possible adverse effects are usually rare and may include gastrointestinal discomfort and hypersensitivity reactions such as itching or skin rash. - Composition: Each measuring spoon of the tea infusion powder (1.2 g) contains dry extract of birch leaves (224 mg) and dry extract of goldenrod herb (250 mg). Other ingredients are maltodextrin, ammonia sugar couleur, orange flavouring, caramel flavouring, saccharin sodium and bitter fennel oil. - Mode of action: The tea has a flushing effect on the urinary tract.
