Instructions for use for Nettle tea Aurica (100 g)
Areas of application
Aurica nettle tea is traditionally used to prevent and treat problems in the urinary tract. This includes flushing the urinary tract as well as preventing and treating kidney grit. The tea also supports rheumatic complaints. No prescription is required for this product.
Mode of action
The ingredients of Aurica nettle tea come from the nettle plant. This acts as a natural mixture and contains fatty acids, silica, phytosterols and tannins. With its tannins and fatty acids, nettle inhibits inflammation, relieves pain and has a mild diuretic effect. This promotes the excretion of germs and bacteria through the urine, which has a soothing effect on urinary tract infections, kidney grit or urinary stones. In case of rheumatic complaints, nettle leaves can also relieve muscle pain and joint pain.
Ingredients
The medicinally active ingredient of Aurica nettle tea is cut nettle leaves.
Dosage instructions and method of application
Unless otherwise prescribed, the tea infusion is drunk 3 to 4 times a day.To do this, pour boiling water (approx. 150 ml) over 4 teaspoons (approx. 2.8 g) of nettle tea and, if necessary, strain it through a tea strainer after about 10 to 15 minutes. It is important to ensure that you also drink plenty of fluids.
Duration of application
In the case of acute symptoms that last longer than a week or that recur periodically, we recommend consulting a doctor.
Contraindications
The widespread use of nettle leaves as food has not yet resulted in any evidence of risks during pregnancy and breastfeeding.Nevertheless, tea infusions made from nettle leaves should not be drunk during pregnancy or breastfeeding, as there are no sufficient experimental studies. There are also no adequately documented studies on use in children under 12 years of age, which is why nettle leaves should not be used in this age group. If there is edema due to restricted heart or kidney activity, flushing therapy is not indicated.
Interactions with other agents
There are no known interactions with other products.
Side effects
So far there are no known side effects. If you still notice side effects, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Notes
Be careful if you are allergic to ascorbic acid (vitamin C).The medicine must be protected from moisture and stored in the dark.Medicines should be kept out of the reach of children. After the expiry date, the medicine should no longer be used.
