The gray-haired cistus, also known as Cistus incanus, is a forgotten, native aromatic plant.It surpasses the polyphenol content of red wine, onions and blueberries in both variety and quantity.The plant is extremely polymorphic, meaning it has different shapes and properties depending on its location.For our tea, we only harvest plants that have traditionally been used as home tea.

Our cistus organic tea consists of 100% Cistus incanus L. Pandalis, which comes from controlled organic cultivation.

Dosage and preparation

To prepare the delicious tea, add 2-3 tablespoons of the tea herb to 1 liter of fresh boiling water and let it steep for 2 to 5 minutes, depending on your taste.Our tip: Refine the tea with lemon and honey.Mixed cold with fruit juice or prepared as iced tea, this tea is an ideal refreshing drink.

For a particularly intense, bitter, aromatic taste, you can put the tea herb in a saucepan with cold water, bring the tea to the boil and let it simmer for about 5 minutes with the lid on.
