Instructions for use of the article Osmosteril 20 % Glass bottle: Osmosteril 20 % is a mannitol solution used for osmotherapy. It is used to lower intracranial pressure when the blood-brain barrier is intact, to treat and prevent acute renal failure after previous trial infusion following trauma or shock, to lower intraocular pressure in glaucoma, to diagnose oliguria/anuria and to induce osmotic diuresis in oliguria/anuria.
