Instructions for use for RINGER LÖSUNG DAB 7 Plastic, 10X250 ml
Instructions for use of article RINGER LOESUNG DAB 7 PLAST Ringer's solution DAB 7 is an infusion solution used as an electrolyte solution for fluid and electrolyte substitution in hypochloraemic alkalosis or chloride loss. It can also be used as short-term intravascular volume replacement, isotonic dehydration and hypotonic dehydration. In addition, it serves as a carrier solution for compatible electrolyte concentrates and medications. Ringer's solution DAB 7 contains 8.600 g sodium chloride, 0.300 g potassium chloride, 0.330 g calcium chloride 2 H2O and water for injection per 1000 ml infusion solution. It has an osmolarity of 309 mosm/l and a pH of 5.0 - 7.5. There are some absolute and relative contraindications for the use of Ringer's solution DAB 7. Absolute contraindications are overhydration states (hyperhydration states). Relative contraindications are increased blood potassium (hyperkalaemia), increased blood sodium (hypernatraemia), increased blood chloride (hyperchloraemia) and conditions requiring restrictive sodium intake. There are no concerns about the use of Ringer's solution in pregnant women and during breastfeeding DAB 7. Regular checks of electrolyte and fluid status are required when using Ringer's solution DAB 7. In the treatment of hypertonic dehydration, too rapid infusion should be avoided. There are no known interactions with other agents. However, due to the calcium content, incompatibilities with solutions containing inorganic phosphate or carbonate may occur. The dosage of Ringer's solution DAB 7 depends on the individual need for fluid and electrolytes. The maximum infusion rate and maximum daily dose depend on the patient's clinical condition. Ringer's solution DAB 7 is administered intravenously. An overdose can lead to overhydration, disturbances in electrolyte balance, hyperosmolarity and an acidotic metabolic state. In such a case, the supply of the solution should be interrupted, elimination via the kidneys accelerated and the supply of the corresponding electrolytes reduced. If used as directed, no side effects are to be expected. In case of undesirable side effects, these should be reported to the doctor or pharmacist. Ringer's solution DAB 7 is available in plastic bottles of 250 ml, 500 ml and 1000 ml. The information is current as of June 2005 and comes from Serag-Wiessner KG.Medicines Reviews

I like to use the Ringer's solution to moisten wound dressings that stick to the wound.
