Instructions for use for RINGER LÖSUNG DAB 7 Plastic, 250 ml
Instructions for use of the article RINGER LOESUNG DAB 7 PLAST Ringer's solution DAB 7 is an infusion solution used for fluid and electrolyte substitution in hypochloraemic alkalosis or chloride loss and as a short-term intravascular volume replacement. It can also be used in isotonic or hypotonic dehydration and as a carrier solution for electrolyte concentrates and medicines. The composition of a 1000 ml infusion solution contains sodium chloride (8.600 g), potassium chloride (0.300 g), calcium chloride 2 H2O (0.330 g) and water for injection. The sodium (Na+), calcium (Ca++), potassium (K+) and chloride (Cl-) contents are 147.2 mmol/l, 2.25 mmol/l, 4.0 mmol/l and 155.7 mmol/l, respectively. The theoretical osmolarity is 309 mosm/l and the pH is between 5.0 and 7.5. The dosage form of the drug is an infusion solution available in plastic bottles of 250 ml, 500 ml or 1000 ml. Ringer's solution DAB 7 belongs to the substance or indication group of electrolyte solutions. The pharmaceutical entrepreneur and manufacturer of the medicinal product is Serag-Wiessner KG , based in Naila. If you have any questions or concerns, you can contact the company on (0 92 82) 93 70. There are some contraindications to consider when using Ringer's solution DAB 7. Absolute contraindications are overhydration states (hyperhydration states). Relative contraindications are an increased potassium or sodium content in the blood, an increased chloride content in the blood and diseases that require a restrictive sodium intake. Pregnant and breastfeeding women can use the medicinal product without hesitation. Precautions for use and warnings include checking electrolyte and fluid status and avoiding too rapid an infusion when treating hypertonic dehydration. There are no known interactions with other agents. However, due to the calcium content, incompatibilities may occur with solutions containing inorganic phosphate or carbonate. It is advisable to observe the package inserts of the medicinal products to be added. Ringer's solution DAB 7 is dosed according to the fluid and electrolyte requirements. The maximum infusion rate is based on the clinical condition of the patient and the maximum daily dose is based on the fluid and electrolyte requirements. The administration is intravenous. In case of overdose, overhydration, disturbances in electrolyte balance, hyperosmolarity and acidotic metabolic state may occur. In this case, the supply of the solution is interrupted, elimination via the kidneys is accelerated and the supply of the corresponding electrolytes is reduced. If used as directed, no side effects are to be expected. However, if any side effects occur, you should report them to your doctor or pharmacist. The expiry date on the container and the outer wrapping should be observed. The medicinal product should not be used after the expiry date. It should be kept out of reach of children and only clear solutions in intact containers should be used. This information is from June 2005 and the source of the information is www.serag-wiessner.de. Note: For risks and side effects, read the package leaflet and ask your doctor or pharmacist.Medicines Reviews

I like to use the Ringer's solution to moisten wound dressings that stick to the wound.
