Cutimed Hydro B hydrocolloid dressing with adhesive edge 15.0 cm x 18.0 cm (sacrum) is a sterile, latex-free and self-adhesive dressing that was specially developed for targeted wound management.It regulates the moist wound climate and thus promotes healing.

Cutimed Hydro consists of hydrocolloids that absorb the exudate, forming a stable gel that adapts to the wound.Vertical absorption of exudate keeps wound edges dry, reducing the risk of maceration.The bandage also minimizes the risk of contamination from liquids or bacteria as it optimally seals the wound.Cutimed Hydro is waterproof, offers optimal hold and can be removed in one piece.

The wound contact layer of Cutimed Hydro B consists of hydrocolloids, which are covered on the outside with a foil-coated polyurethane foam.The bandage is latex-free.

Areas of application

Cutimed Hydro B is suitable for weakly to moderately exuding wounds, such as venous leg ulcers and arteriosum, diabetic ulcers, decubitus ulcers, postoperative wounds and split-thickness skin donor sites.Both hydrocolloid dressings can also be used as semi-occlusive secondary dressings.

Duration of application

The duration of application depends on the condition of the wound, in particular on the amount of exudate.
