Instructions for use of item Jelonet Paraffin Gauze 10x40 cm Sterile: JELONET is a soft paraffin gauze dressing that acts as an anti-adhesive between the wound and the secondary dressing. The open dressing structure allows wound exudate to drain easily into an absorbent secondary dressing. A special weave prevents fraying when cutting the dressing. Dimensions: 10 x 40 cm Properties and benefits: - Air and exudate permeable to prevent skin maceration. - Ointment coating protects wound surface and edges - Allows atraumatic dressing changes and undisturbed wound rest - Analgesic - Secondary dressing required (depending on the amount of exudate, use e.g. absorbent dressings, film dressings such as OPSITE FLEXIFIX or fixation bandages) - Latex-free formulation Field of application: JELONET can be used for the treatment of minor burns, wounds with skin loss (lacerations, abrasions and skin graft wounds) and lower leg ulcers.
