Summary: Vagi C Fem vaginal tablets contain the active ingredient ascorbic acid and are used to protect the microflora of the vagina and maintain the pH level. This promotes the development of normal vaginal flora and prevents the growth of pathogenic germs. The vaginal tablets should be inserted deep into the vagina once a day, preferably in the evening before going to bed. Prolonged use over several weeks or months may be recommended, especially in cases of severe disorders of the vaginal flora or during pregnancy. There is no evidence to limit the duration of use. If stored incorrectly, the vaginal tablets may become discoloured. There are no known overdose symptoms with vaginal use of vitamin C. If you forget to use it, you should do so as soon as possible. Stopping the treatment prematurely could jeopardise the success of the therapy. The medicine should be stored out of the reach of children and at room temperature.
