Areas of application

Apis ex animale GI D30 is used in accordance with anthroposophical knowledge of humanity and nature.It serves to harmonize the heat organism and structure metabolic processes in the case of localized inflammation and disorders of the peripheral metabolic organization.These include, for example, angina lacunaris, concomitant treatment for inflammation of the lymphatic vessels (lymphangitis), inflammation of the uterine appendages (adnexitis), diseases of the rheumatic type including acute inflammatory attacks and urticarial exanthema.

Composition

One ampoule contains Apis mellifica ex animale toto Gl Dil.D30 1 ml (HAB, Vs. 41 e).

Contraindications

The medicine should not be used if you are hypersensitive to bee venom.If you are allergic to bee venom, administration of this medicine can cause allergic reactions that may include hives (urticaria), shortness of breath (bronchospasticity) and, in extreme cases, anaphylactic shock with cardiovascular arrest.Despite decades of use, severe general allergic reactions have not been reported after administration of the drug, but they cannot be ruled out.The risk of such reactions occurring is likely to be increased if the drug is accidentally injected into a vein.The instructions on the injection technique given under “Dosage and method of administration” must therefore be carefully followed.If itching skin, shortness of breath, dizziness or other worrying symptoms occur during or after the administration, the injection should be interrupted and a doctor should be contacted immediately.It is recommended that the patient lie flat, with the legs raised if necessary.

Precautions for use and warnings

There is no adequately documented experience with the use of this medicine in children.It should therefore only be used in children under 12 years of age after consulting a doctor.

Dosage and method of administration

Unless otherwise prescribed, the medicine should be injected subcutaneously 2 to 3 times a week to 1 ml once a day.

Duration of application

Treatment of an acute illness should be completed after two weeks.If there is no improvement within two days, you should see a doctor.The duration of treatment for chronic diseases requires consultation with the doctor.

So far there are no known side effects.
