Euvegal 320mg/160mg film-coated tablets
Euvegal is a herbal medicine that contains dry extracts of valerian root and lemon balm leaves.It helps with hectic pace, nervousness and stress, which can lead to sleep disorders.Euvegal calms the nerves and promotes healthy sleep.

Euvegal is used for restlessness and nervous-related problems falling asleep.
Active ingredients and ingredients
One Euvegal film-coated tablet contains the following active ingredients: 320 mg dry extract of valerian root in a drug to extract ratio of 3-6:1, where the extract agent is ethanol 62% (m/m), and 160 mg dry extract of lemon balm leaves in a drug to extract ratio of 4-6:1, where the extract agent is ethanol 30% (m/m).
The other ingredients include sucrose, crospovidone type A (Ph. Eur.), hydrogenated castor oil, colloidal silicon dioxide, hypromellose, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate (Ph. Eur.), stearic acid (Ph. Eur.) [pflanzlich], titanium dioxide E 171, indigo carmine, aluminum salt E 132, talc, vanillin,Saccharin sodium, simeticone, methylcellulose and sorbic acid (Ph. Eur.).
Note for diabetics: One film-coated tablet contains less than 0.0005 bread units (BE).
Contraindications
The medicine must not be taken if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to valerian, lemon balm or any of the other ingredients.
Dosage
For the treatment of restlessness: Adults and adolescents aged 12 and over take one film-coated tablet twice daily.Children aged 6 years and over take one film-coated tablet once a day.
For the treatment of nervous-related problems falling asleep: Adults and adolescents aged 12 and over take one film-coated tablet ½ to 1 hour before going to bed.If necessary, you can also take a film-coated tablet earlier in the evening.Children aged 6 years and over take one film-coated tablet ½ to 1 hour before going to bed.
Intake
The film-coated tablets are intended to be taken orally.Please take the film-coated tablets whole with sufficient liquid (preferably a glass of drinking water).Do not take the film-coated tablets while lying down.
Patient information
Particular caution when taking the drug is required in children.There are no sufficient studies on the use of the preparation in small children.It should therefore not be used in children under 6 years of age.Sleep disorders in children rarely require treatment with medication.If non-medicinal measures such as regular daily routines, ending the day calmly, etc. do not show sufficient success, the medicine can in principle be used in children aged 6 and over.However, sleep disorders can be a consequence of physical or mental illnesses and in such cases should be resolved through targeted treatment of the underlying illness.
If the symptoms last longer than 2 weeks or worsen, you should consult a doctor.
Even when used as directed, the medicine can impair the ability to drive and operate machines.In this case, you are not allowed to drive motor vehicles, operate machines or carry out other dangerous activities.This applies to an even greater extent when combined with alcohol.
Pregnancy
The safety during pregnancy and breastfeeding has not been adequately studied.Taking the drug is not recommended for pregnant and breastfeeding women.
