Jelonet is an ointment compress with paraffin that serves as a soft paraffin gauze bandage.It is placed between the wound and the secondary dressing to prevent adhesion.This enables an atraumatic dressing change that is gentle and painless for the patient.The open structure of the dressing allows wound exudate to drain easily into an absorbent secondary dressing.A special weave prevents the bandage from fraying when cutting.

Thanks to the white paraffin coating, Jelonet protects the wound surface and the edges of the wound.The open bandage structure of the cotton gauze allows good air and exudate permeability, which helps prevent skin maceration.This enables gentle and painless dressing changes as well as undisturbed wound rest.Jelonet is pain-relieving and requires a secondary dressing that can be selected depending on the amount of exudate, such as absorbent compresses, film bandages or fixing bandages.The formulation is latex-free.

Jelonet can be used to treat minor burns, wounds with skin loss such as lacerations, abrasions, skin graft wounds, and lower leg ulcers.
