Directions for use of the article Arnica tincture Hettrich: Arnica tincture Hettrich is a herbal medicinal product for the external treatment of blunt injuries and muscle or joint pain. It can be used for various applications, such as sports and accident injuries (e.g. bruises, sprains, contusions) and inflammations (e.g. boils, insect bites, phlebitis). The dosage and instructions for use may vary depending on age. Adolescents from 12 years of age and adults should apply the medicine several times a day to the affected parts of the body, avoiding contact with mucous membranes and open skin areas. It should not be used for longer than 1-2 weeks without medical advice. Some side effects may occur, such as hypersensitivity reactions of the skin. A doctor or pharmacist should be consulted in the event of any disturbances of well-being during treatment. The medicinal product contains tincture of arnica flowers and should be protected from moisture and stored in the dark. Important information is that the medicinal product must not be ingested and should not be used in cases of hypersensitivity to the ingredients, open wounds or pregnancy and breastfeeding.
