Directions for use: CADESORB is a protease-modulating ointment dressing used for the treatment of chronic wounds. The topically applied ointment transforms into a moist gel on contact with wound exudate. By regulating protease activity in the wound bed and absorbing wound secretions and cellular debris, CADESORB helps improve the wound environment to promote healing. The application of CADESORB can create a moist wound environment and lower the pH in the wound, which reduces bacterial growth. The product is easy to apply, biodegradable and latex-free. It can be used on occupied, weeping wounds even under compression therapy. Indications for use: CADESORB is indicated for the management of chronic wounds without visible signs of inflammation.
