Instructions for use for Tactu Mobil ointment, 100 g
What is tactu-mobil and what is it used for?
tactu-mobil is a herbal medicine that was specifically developed for external use for muscle and joint pain. The ointment contains essential oils such as eucalyptus oil, turpentine oil and camphor, which promote blood circulation and create a pleasant warmth in painful joints. This heat helps to effectively relieve pain.In addition, tactu-mobil is also suitable for warming up the muscles before physical exertion or competitions in order to make the muscles more supple and stretchy and thus prevent injuries. No prescription is required for this product.
Application
tactu-mobil is applied directly to the skin.Adults and young people aged 12 and over should rub the affected areas evenly 3 to 5 times a day with a strand of ointment about 1 cm long per palm-sized treatment area.A 1 cm long ointment strand contains approximately 0.023 g camphor, 0.023 g eucalyptus oil and 0.015 g purified turpentine oil.
Ingredients
100 g of the ointment contains the following medicinally active ingredients: 7.5 g racemic camphor, 7.5 g eucalyptus oil and 5.0 g purified turpentine oil.The ointment also contains other ingredients such as macrogol glycerol hydroxystearate, [(Z)-Octadec-9-en-1-yl] oleate and emulsifying cetylstearyl alcohol (type A).
Notes
A doctor should be consulted in acute conditions that involve redness, swelling or overheating of the joints, as well as if symptoms persist. It is important to avoid contact of the medicine with the eyes and not to use it on the face or mucous membrane areas. After use, hands should be cleaned thoroughly. The product should not be used after the expiry date stated on the package, as the expiry date refers to the last day of the specified month.
Special precautions
Cetylstearyl alcohol can cause localized skin irritation.tactu-mobil must not be used in cases of known hypersensitivity to cineole, the main component of eucalyptus oil, camphor or turpentine oil, in infants and small children up to 2 years of age, in damaged skin, in bronchial asthma, whooping cough and pseudocroup.Care should be taken to ensure that children cannot come into contact with rubbed hands.
Use in children, pregnancy and breastfeeding
tactu-mobil must not be used on infants and small children up to 2 years of age. There are no sufficient studies on use during pregnancy and breastfeeding, so the medicine should not be used during this time.
