frubiase® calcium drinking ampoules are a mineral preparation that is used to prevent calcium deficiency in adults when the daily calcium intake from food is not sufficient.It also supports the treatment of osteoporosis.The drinking ampoules contain the active ingredients calcium lactate pentahydrate and calcium gluconate.It also contains benzyl alcohol and sorbitol.Each drinking ampoule (10 ml) contains 1.49 mg alcohol (ethanol).

frubiase® calcium drinking ampoules are used to prevent calcium deficiency when there is increased need, such as during growth, pregnancy and breastfeeding.They support the treatment of osteoporosis and are also used for allergies, certain bone formation disorders, cramps due to calcium deficiency and increased tendency to cramps.

Active ingredients and ingredients

Each drinking ampoule (10 ml) contains 350 mg of calcium lactate pentahydrate and 500 mg of calcium gluconate, which corresponds to 90.2 mg of calcium ions.Other ingredients include orange fruit juice concentrate, phosphoric acid, saccharin sodium, sorbitol, purified water and orange flavor.

Contraindications

The medicine must not be used in cases of severe kidney dysfunction, increased calcium levels in the blood, increased calcium excretion in the urine, hyperfunction of the parathyroid gland, high intakes of vitamin D, certain calcium-depleting cancers, calcium kidney stones or deposition of calcium in the kidney tissue, as well as bone loss as a result of restricted movement.Children should only take the product after consulting a doctor.

Dosage and intake

The usual dose is two drinking ampoules three times a day, corresponding to 540 mg calcium.The contents of the drinking ampoules should be taken undiluted and, if possible, before meals.People with sensitive stomachs or those prone to diarrhea can take the contents after meals.The duration of use should be decided individually by a doctor, although long-term use is recommended.

Patient information

During long-term use, blood calcium levels and urinary calcium excretion should be monitored regularly.During pregnancy and breastfeeding, the intake should be coordinated with a doctor or pharmacist.There are no known harmful effects from taking calcium as directed during this time.

Notes
