Active ingredients and ingredients

1 Gram of Emser nasal ointment sensitive contains 60 milligrams of natural Emser salt as an effective ingredient.Emser salt is a complex salt mixture that contains numerous minerals and trace elements, including lithium, sodium, potassium, magnesium, calcium, manganese, iron, fluoride, chloride, bromide, iodide, nitrate, sulfate, bicarbonate and carbonate.

The ointment contains bornyl acetate, racemic camphor, chlorophyllin-copper complex, cineole, chamomile flower oil, levomenthol, thick paraffin and white petroleum jelly.

Areas of application

Emser Nasal Ointment Sensitive is used for dry nasal mucosa that itches, burns or is crusted.It helps with chronic inflammation of the nasal mucosa, colds, hay fever and age-related dry nose.The ointment is particularly effective in preventing the formation of bark and crusts in the nasal vestibule.

Application and dosage

If necessary, apply a lens-sized piece of Emser Nasal Ointment Sensitive deep into both nostrils, even several times a day.Spread the ointment by pressing the nostrils or applying it with a cotton swab.Applied before going to bed, the ointment reliably keeps the nose moist until the morning hours.Avoid drawing the ointment heavily into the nasal cavity.

Contraindications and precautions

Emser Nasal Ointment Sensitiv must not be used in cases of known hypersensitivity to one of the components, in cases of injuries to the roof of the nose or the paranasal sinuses in connection with rhinoliquorrhoea, and in children up to the age of 6.Particular caution is required in cases of bronchial asthma and a hyperreactive bronchial system.Risks associated with use during pregnancy and breastfeeding are not yet known.
