Area of application
This supplement is a vitamin supplement used to treat proven vitamin B1 deficiency.It is used when such a deficiency has been clinically confirmed.
Active ingredients / ingredients / ingredients
The preparation contains 25 mg of thiamine hydrochloride, which corresponds to 22.3 mg of thiamine.The following excipients are also included: sodium chloride, trisodium phosphate 12 water, water for injections and 23 mg total sodium ion.
Contraindications
This preparation must not be used if there is hypersensitivity to vitamin B1 or any other component of the drug.
Dosage
Always use this product exactly as directed.If you are unsure, please ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Unless otherwise prescribed, 50 - 100 mg thiamine chloride hydrochloride (corresponding to 2 - 4 ampoules) is given as an injection once daily.
The duration of treatment depends on the cause of the vitamin B1 deficiency and is determined by the doctor.
In the event of an overdose, the application is interrupted.Other measures are generally not necessary.With extreme overdoses of more than 10 g, curare-like nerve paralysis can occur.Physical complaints must be treated medically according to current medical requirements.
If you forget to use it, please contact your doctor to arrange further dosage.
If you stop treatment, you endanger the success of the treatment.Please talk to your doctor about further treatment if unpleasant side effects occur.
Intake
This medicine is carefully and slowly injected intramuscularly or intravenously (into a muscle or vein) by your doctor or other medical staff.
Patient information
Hypersensitivity reactions with shock after a vitamin B1 injection are very rare, but possible.If you experience shortness of breath, a racing heart, hives or circulatory collapse, you should contact a doctor immediately.
The medicine has no or negligible influence on the ability to drive and use machines.
Pregnancy
During pregnancy and breastfeeding, your daily vitamin requirements should be ensured with a balanced diet.This medicine is only intended to treat vitamin deficiency and may therefore only be used after the doctor has carefully weighed the benefits and risks.
There are no systematic studies on its use during pregnancy.Vitamin B1 passes into breast milk.
