Directions for use of Vitamin B1 Injektopas 100 mg solution for injection: - Vitamin B1 Injektopas 100 mg is a vitamin preparation used to treat vitamin B1 deficiency where this has been clinically proven. It contains the active substance thiamine chloride hydrochloride. - Vitamin B1 Injektopas 100 mg is used according to the instructions in the package leaflet. As a rule, 50-100 mg thiamine chloride hydrochloride (corresponding to ½-1 ampoule of vitamin B1-Injektopas 100 mg) is administered as an injection 1 time daily. The injection is administered intramuscularly or intravenously by medical personnel. - The duration of treatment with vitamin B1-Injektopas 100 mg depends on the cause of the vitamin B1 deficiency and is determined by the doctor. - The medicinal product should be kept out of the reach of children and should not be used after the expiry date which is stated on the outer carton and container. It should not be stored above 25°C and should be protected from light. Once the ampoule has been opened, the medicine must be used immediately and any unused residue should be discarded. - There are some important notes to follow, such as the warning on the label indicating the presence of sodium. In addition, the package leaflet should be read for risks and side effects and a doctor or pharmacist should be consulted if there are any questions. - Side effects may occur, including hypersensitivity reactions, sweating, accelerated pulse, skin reactions, circulatory collapse, skin rash and shortness of breath.
