Active ingredient and other ingredients

Each Rutinion 50 mg tablet contains 50 mg of rutoside trihydrate as the active ingredient.The other ingredients include pre-gelatinized corn starch, colloidal silicon dioxide, carmellose calcium, talc and magnesium stearate (Ph. Eur.).The preparation also contains carbohydrates, corresponding to less than 0.1 bread units (BE) per single dose.

Application and dosage

Always take Rutinion 50 mg tablets exactly as described in the package leaflet or after consulting your doctor or pharmacist.Unless otherwise prescribed, the recommended dosage is two tablets three times daily.The tablets should be taken with plenty of liquid during meals.The duration of use should be in accordance with the instructions in the package leaflet.

Contraindications and precautions

Rutinion 50 mg tablets must not be taken if you are allergic to rutoside or any of the other ingredients of the medicine.Before taking you should talk to your doctor or pharmacist, especially if you are taking other medicines or if you are pregnant or breast-feeding.Rutinion 50 mg is contraindicated in the first trimester of pregnancy.
