SPASURET 200 mg is a uro-spasmolytic medicine used for the symptomatic treatment of frequent urination, unsuppressible urge to urinate and urinary incontinence. The medicine contains the active substance flavoxate hydrochloride, which relieves and prevents muscle spasms in the urinary tract. It inhibits contractions of the urinary tract, thereby reducing urinary symptoms and pain. SPASURET 200 mg is available as film-coated tablets and should be taken as directed by the doctor. It must not be used if there is hypersensitivity to the active substance or the other ingredients, in cardiac arrhythmias, reflux oesophagitis, constrictive changes in the gastrointestinal tract, bleeding in the gastrointestinal tract, narrowing or obstruction of the urinary tract and frequent and unsuppressible urination due to heart or kidney disease. During pregnancy and breastfeeding, SPASURET 200 mg should not be taken. Side effects may occur such as indigestion, nausea, drowsiness, deterioration of vision, vomiting, dry mouth and skin rash. The medicine should be kept out of the reach of children and protected from heat. The dosage and instructions for use should be followed exactly.
