Description
Do you suffer from an irritable bladder with a constant, often sudden urge to urinate, even though you have just been to the toilet?If you then follow the urge to urinate, you can only release small amounts.Sometimes the “overactive bladder” also leads to uncontrolled loss of urine.
Spasuret with the active ingredient flavoxate relaxes the smooth muscles of the bladder.Your overactive bladder can calm down and the symptoms go away.

Spasuret 200 mg is a uro-spasmolytic.It is used for the symptomatic treatment of frequent urination, unrepressible urge to urinate and urinary incontinence.
The medicine belongs to a group of medications that relieve and prevent muscle spasms.It contains an antispasmodic agent that inhibits contractions in the urinary tract, thereby reducing urinary symptoms and associated pain.
It is used for the symptomatic treatment of urinary tract symptoms such as difficulty urinating, sudden need to urinate, a much more frequent need to urinate, including at night, bladder pain above the pubic bone and involuntary loss of urine.

The active ingredient is flavoxate hydrochloride.1 film-coated tablet contains 200 mg flavoxate hydrochloride.
The other ingredients are: lactose monohydrate, sodium carboxymethyl starch, povidone, talc, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, hypromellose, macrogol 6000, macrogol stearate, titanium dioxide.
Contraindications
The medicine must not be taken if you are hypersensitive to flavoxate hydrochloride or any of the other ingredients.Also if you have a gastrointestinal disease that affects the normal passage of food, if you have gastrointestinal bleeding, if you have a muscle-related difficulty swallowing, if you cannot completely empty your bladder, if you are being treated for an eye disease called glaucoma, or if you have a disease that causes general weakness and fatigue of the muscles.
Dosage
Always take this medicine exactly as described or exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you.Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure.
The recommended dose is to take one 200 mg film-coated tablet three to four times daily.
If you take more than you should, contact your doctor or hospital immediately.
If you forget to take your medicine, don't worry and just take your next dose at the usual time.Do not take a double dose if you forget to take the previous dose.

Intake
Do not break the film-coated tablet, but swallow it whole, preferably with a glass of water.The film-coated tablets should be taken after a meal to avoid nausea.
Patient information
Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine if you suffer from kidney dysfunction.The medicine should not be given to children under 12 years of age.
You should not drive or use machines if you experience side effects such as drowsiness or blurred vision while taking the medication.

The medicine is not indicated in cases of compelling urge to urinate and frequent emptying of small amounts of urine caused by heart or kidney disease. Before starting use, hormonal or organic causes such as urinary transport disorders, inflammation and tumors, which must be treated causally, should be ruled out.If the treatment is used for a longer period of time, blood count checks should be carried out.
