Nutramigen LGG Lipil powder is a dietary food for special medical purposes intended for the treatment of allergies to cow's milk protein in infants and young children.It is a balanced diet specifically designed for the nutrition of children with these allergies.No prescription is required for this product.

Application and dosage

The dosage should be according to the doctor's instructions, as it may differ from standard recommendations.General dosage recommendations are based on the child's age and approximate body weight.Here are the guidelines:

For infants 0 to 2 weeks weighing less than 3 to 3.5 kg, 6 bottles per day are recommended, with each bottle containing 90 ml of water and 3 scoops of powder, for a total of 100 ml per bottle.

For infants 2 to 4 weeks old weighing 3.5 to 4 kg, 5 to 6 bottles per day are recommended, with each bottle containing 120 ml of water and 4 scoops of powder, for a total of 130 ml per bottle.

For infants 1 to 2 months weighing 4 to 5 kg, 5 bottles per day are recommended, with each bottle containing 150 ml of water and 5 scoops of powder, for a total of 170 ml per bottle.

For infants 2 to 4 months weighing 5 to 6.5 kg, 4 to 5 bottles per day are recommended, with each bottle containing 180 ml of water and 6 scoops of powder, for a total of 200 ml per bottle.

For infants 4 to 6 months weighing more than 6.5 kg, 4 bottles per day are recommended, with each bottle containing 210 ml of water and 7 scoops of powder, for a total of 230 ml per bottle.

From the 7th month onwards, the daily drinking amount should be adjusted to the child's nutrient requirements in consultation with the doctor.The powder should only be measured with the included measuring spoon.One measuring spoon corresponds to 4.5 g of powder in 30 ml of water.The powder should not be squeezed into the measuring spoon, but rather scraped off with the back of a clean, dry knife.

Preparation and instructions for use

Before preparation, hands should be washed thoroughly with soap and water.The bottle, teat, cap and other accessories should be cleaned and boiled in sparkling water for 1 minute.

Fresh water should be boiled for 1 minute and cooled to room temperature before preparation.The exact amount of cooled water should be poured into the bottle.The exact amount of powder should then be added as indicated in the dosage recommendation table.The dry measuring spoon should be stored in the container.

The bottle should be capped and rolled back and forth between your hands, then shaken vigorously until the powder is completely dissolved.To check the temperature, some food should be dripped onto the inside of the wrist.

The prepared baby food can spoil quickly.It should be fed immediately after preparation and not used for more than 2 hours.The food should not be frozen.After starting feeding, food should be consumed within 1 hour.The bottle should not be stored in the refrigerator.Leftover food should be discarded and the bottle and accessories cleaned thoroughly.

Storage conditions

The can should be stored in a cool and dry place.The opened can should always be tightly closed and kept dry after use.The contents of the opened can should be used within 1 month.The powder should not be frozen or exposed to high heat.
