Areas of application

This medicine is used according to the anthroposophical knowledge of humanity and nature.It is used to treat hormonal dysfunction of the thyroid and enlarged thyroid, also known as goiter.

Composition

One ampoule contains Glandula thyroidea bovis Gl Dil.D15 in an amount of 1 ml, according to the HAB monograph, Vs. 41a.

Contraindications

The liquid dilution for injection in potency levels D4, D5 and D6 should not be used if the thyroid gland is overactive (hyperthyroidism) or if there is hypersensitivity to the donor animal protein.There are no known contraindications for potency levels from D8.

Precautions and warnings

There is insufficient documented experience with the use of this medicine in children.Therefore, it should only be used in children under 12 years of age after consulting a doctor.

Dosage and method of administration

Unless otherwise prescribed, the medicine should be injected subcutaneously in an amount of 1 ml 2 to 3 times weekly.

Duration of application

The treatment of an acute illness is usually completed with the administration of the contents of a pack.If this is not the case, a doctor should be consulted.The duration of treatment for chronic diseases should be determined in consultation with a doctor.

Side effects

In sensitized people, hypersensitivity reactions to donor animal protein can occur, especially at low potency levels up to D7.In such a case, the medicine should be discontinued and a doctor should be consulted.
