Contraindications

Magnesium Verla N Dragées must not be taken if you are allergic to the active ingredient or any of the other ingredients of this medicine or if you suffer from severe kidney dysfunction with inhibition of excretion or a lack of fluid in the body.

Dosage and intake

The dosage depends on the extent of the magnesium deficiency and is at the discretion of the doctor.The usual dosage for adults is 1-3 tablets three times a day (equivalent to 120-360 mg magnesium). The enteric-coated dragées are taken whole with liquid.Taking it before eating increases absorption from the gastrointestinal tract into the bloodstream.
