Glucose 5% B. Braun injection solution is used to dissolve and dilute medicines to be administered as an injection.The active ingredient is glucose monohydrate and the other ingredient is water for injections.100 ml of the solution contains 5.5 g of glucose monohydrate, which corresponds to 5.0 g of anhydrous glucose.

Important notes

Glucose 5% B. Braun injection solution must not be used if you have high blood sugar levels, low blood potassium levels or if your blood is too acidic.Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using glucose 5% B. Braun.During use, if necessary, your blood electrolyte levels, especially potassium, will be measured and your fluid balance and acid-base status will be determined.Your blood sugar level will also be monitored.

Particular caution should be exercised in children, especially newborns and premature babies, as the risk of blood sugar levels being too low or too high is increased.Close blood sugar monitoring is necessary during treatment.

Application

Storage
