Ardeynephron capsules are a traditional herbal medicinal product for flushing therapy to support mild complaints in the area of the draining urinary tract. The medicinal product contains orthosiphon leaf dry extract as the active substance. It is recommended to take 2 hard capsules 3 times a day. The capsules should be taken unchewed with plenty of liquid with meals. Ample fluid intake during the period of use is important to increase the amount of urine. The flushing therapy is traditionally carried out over a period of 2 to 4 weeks. If symptoms persist for longer, a doctor or pharmacist should be consulted. The medicinal product should not be taken in cases of hypersensitivity to the ingredients and in cases of oedema due to impaired heart and kidney activity. Use in children and adolescents under 18 years of age is not recommended. The medicinal product should not be taken during pregnancy and breast-feeding.
