Instructions for use of the article Lansinoh Breast Milk Bags: - Lansinoh Breast Milk Bags are designed to keep breast milk safe and space-saving in the fridge or freezer. - The bags are made of food-safe polyethylene, are pre-sterilised and hygienically sealed. - They have a double zip closure and sturdy seams that protect the breast milk. - The click closure ensures a secure seal. - Each bag can be filled with up to 180 ml of breast milk and has a printed scale to read the filling amount. - The labelling field is located outside the filling zone to avoid holes. - It is possible to pump directly into the breast milk bag with all Lansinoh breast pumps. - The bags can be frozen lying down and gently defrosted. - It is recommended to place a kitchen paper between the bags or between the bag and the wall of the freezer to avoid ice crystals. - The milk from several pumping sessions can be collected in one bag within 24 hours. - Storage times for breast milk at different temperatures are given. - Breast milk can be gently thawed in the refrigerator, at room temperature or in a water bath. - Thawed milk should be stored in the refrigerator and used within specific time periods. - It is not recommended to store breast milk in the refrigerator door. - It is important not to use boiling water or microwave to warm the breast milk. - If necessary, different layers can be mixed in thawed milk by gently swirling.
