Ibuprofen-Hemopharm 400 mg film-coated tablets
Ibuprofen-Hemopharm 400 mg film-coated tablets are a painkilling, antipyretic and anti-inflammatory medicine that is used for the short-term symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain and fever.It is suitable for children aged 6 and over, teenagers and adults.No prescription is required for this product.
Areas of application
Ibuprofen-Hemopharm 400 mg film-coated tablets are used to relieve mild to moderate pain such as headaches, toothaches and period pains and to reduce fever.
Mode of action
The active ingredient ibuprofen in Ibuprofen-Hemopharm 400 mg film-coated tablets inhibits prostaglandin synthesis, a messenger substance that is responsible for the transmission of pain.This relieves pain at its source.Ibuprofen also works in the temperature center of the brain and thus reduces fever.The pain-relieving effect lasts up to 6 hours.
Active ingredients and ingredients
Each film-coated tablet of Ibuprofen-Hemopharm 400 mg contains 400 mg of ibuprofen as the active ingredient.The other ingredients are carboxymethyl starch sodium type A, hypromellose, macrogol 400, macrogol 6000, magnesium distearate and corn starch.
Contraindications
Ibuprofen-Hemopharm 400 mg film-coated tablets should not be used if you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients, have a history of asthma attacks, have blood formation disorders, ulcers or perforations in the gastrointestinal area, heart failure and severe liver or kidney damage.The product is not suitable for children under 6 years (20 kg) and in the last trimester of pregnancy.
Dosage
If necessary, Ibuprofen-Hemopharm 400 mg film-coated tablets should be taken whole with plenty of liquid with or after a meal.Children aged 6 to 9 years (20-29 kg) take half a tablet each, the maximum daily dose is 1.5 tablets.Children aged 10 to 12 years (30-39 kg) also take half a tablet, but the maximum dose here is 2 tablets.For children and adolescents aged 12 and over as well as adults, the single dose is half to a whole tablet and the maximum dose is 3 tablets.After taking a tablet, you should wait 6 hours before taking the next tablet.
Intake
The film-coated tablets should be swallowed whole with plenty of liquid during or after a meal.If you have a sensitive stomach, it is recommended to take the tablets with meals.
