Instructions for use of the article Tegaderm 3M Plaster Roll 5 cm x 10 m Product features: - Tegaderm 3M Plaster Roll provides a waterproof barrier against external contaminants such as bacteria, viruses, blood and body fluids. - The transparent film forms a barrier against viruses with a diameter of 27 nm or more. - It can be cut to the desired length and shape and can also be easily applied with gloves. - The breathable film allows oxygen in and water vapour out. - The conformable film stretches with the skin for increased patient comfort. - It does not need to be removed for diagnostic X-rays or radiation therapy. - The film can be worn for up to seven days and comes with an application frame to ensure accurate and easy application. Dimensions: 5 cm x 10 m Tegaderm Transparent Film Dressing from 3M provides a barrier against bacteria and viruses and secures medical devices and primary dressings to the skin. It is non-sterile and can be used when bathing or showering. The dressing can also be used to cover and protect catheter insertion sites and wounds, to provide an ideal moist environment for wound healing and to secure medical devices to the skin. Recommended applications: - Fixation of primary wound dressings and/or non-sterile medical devices. - As a secondary dressing over alginates, hydrogels and gauze or in applications where a non-sterile tape would be used. - Skin protection. - Protection of intact skin during negative pressure wound therapy. - Protective covers for eyelids. - Protection of temporary skin markings during radiotherapy. - Application after tattooing or tattoo removal. - Fixation of non-critical medical devices or infusion tubes.
