Instructions for use for the PARI LC Sprint nebulizer

The PARI LC Sprint nebulizer is a medical device that produces aerosols for inhalation.It is suitable for treating patients of all ages, as long as they are at least four years old.Only solutions and suspensions that are approved for nebulizer therapy may be used.The nebulizer can only be used in combination with a PARI compressor.

For hygiene reasons, the nebulizer should only be used by one person at home.The inhalation system may only be operated by people who understand the instructions for use and can handle the device safely.Babies, small children, children and people with limited abilities must be supervised by a responsible person during use.If the patient is unable to operate the inhalation system themselves, the therapy must be carried out by the responsible person.

An application usually takes between five and ten minutes, but a maximum of twenty minutes, depending on the amount of liquid.The frequency and duration of use are determined by the doctor or therapist according to individual needs.

Application

Damaged or incorrectly assembled parts can affect the function of the nebulizer.Therefore, check all nebulizer components and accessories before each use.Replace broken, deformed or severely discolored parts and follow the assembly instructions in the instructions for use.

To assemble the nebulizer, place the nozzle attachment onto the nozzle in the nebulizer base with slight pressure, with the arrow on the nozzle attachment pointing upwards.Then place the upper part of the nebulizer on the lower part of the nebulizer and close the nebulizer by turning it clockwise.Then connect the connection hose to the nebulizer or alternatively the LC breaker and the connection hose to the side air inlet on the LC breaker.To use with the mouthpiece, attach it to the nebulizer.

Fill the nebulizer

Only move the lid in the direction specified by the hinge, otherwise it may break off.Insert the nebulizer into the designated holder on the compressor and open the nebulizer lid by pressing against the lid from below with your thumb.Fill the required amount of inhalation solution into the nebulizer from above, observing the minimum and maximum filling volume.Close the nebulizer lid and make sure it clicks into place.

Carry out therapy

Read and understand all safety instructions in the instructions for use before administering therapy.Always hold the nebulizer vertically during therapy.Insert the nebulizer connection hose into the compressed air connection of the compressor with a slight twist and make sure that the hose is connected to the nebulizer at the other end.Remove the nebulizer from the holder and hold it vertically.Make sure all parts are securely connected and turn on the compressor.Ensure aerosol is generated before initiating therapy.

End therapy

To end the therapy, switch off the compressor, put the nebulizer back into the holder on the compressor and pull the power plug out of the socket.
