Hypertonic saline inhalation is a widely used and accepted therapy to increase secretion mobilization in the lower respiratory tract.Osmotic effects of hypertonic saline may promote secretion mobilization and provide rapid relief to patients with cystic fibrosis.The high salt concentration loosens mucus and makes it easier to cough up.This inhalation solution is recommended for cystic fibrosis, COPD and bronchiectasis.

Application

The inhalation solution is intended for single use after opening or preparation and should be used immediately.If you suffer from a hypersensitive bronchial system or massive coughing of blood, talk to your doctor or pharmacist before use.Only mix the solution with other medications after consulting your doctor, as chemical interactions cannot be ruled out that could influence the effectiveness of the therapy.There are no data on the inhalation use of hypertonic saline during pregnancy.If you are pregnant, talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using this inhalation solution.
