The PARI rental accessory set BABY S is used to generate aerosols for inhalation.It is suitable for treating patients of all ages.Only solutions and suspensions that are approved for nebulizer therapy may be used.The nebulizer can only be operated with an PARI compressor.For hygiene reasons, the product should only be used by a single patient in a home environment.

No prescription is required for this product.

The inhalation system may only be operated by people who understand the instructions for use and can operate the device safely.Babies, small children, children and people with limited abilities must be supervised by a responsible person during use.If the patient is unable to operate the inhalation system themselves, the therapy must be carried out by the responsible person.

One application usually takes 5 to 10 minutes, but a maximum of 20 minutes, depending on the amount of liquid.The frequency and duration of use are determined by the doctor or therapist according to individual requirements.

Application

Damaged or incorrectly assembled individual parts can affect the function of the nebulizer.Therefore, check all nebulizer components and accessories before each use.Replace broken, deformed or severely discolored parts and follow the assembly instructions in the instructions for use.

1. Place the nozzle attachment onto the nozzle in the nebulizer base with light pressure.The arrow on the nozzle attachment must point upwards.

2. Place the upper part of the nebulizer on the lower part of the nebulizer and close the nebulizer by turning it clockwise.

3. Connect the connection hose to the nebulizer.

Alternatively, you can plug the LC breaker into the nebulizer and place the connection hose on the side air inlet on the LC breaker.

To use the mouthpiece, simply attach it to the nebulizer.

Fill the nebulizer

Be sure to only move the nebulizer lid in the direction specified by the hinge to avoid breaking it.The nebulizer is then unusable and irreparable.

1. Insert the nebulizer into the holder provided on the compressor.

2. Open the nebulizer lid by pressing against the lid from below with your thumb.

3. Fill the required amount of inhalation solution into the nebulizer from the top.Please note the minimum and maximum filling volume, as too little or too much liquid can affect nebulization.

4. Close the nebulizer lid and make sure it clicks into place.

Carry out therapy

Before you carry out therapy, all safety instructions contained in the instructions for use must be read and understood.Always hold the nebulizer vertically during therapy.

1. Insert the nebulizer connection hose into the compressed air connection of the compressor with a slight twist.Make sure that the connection hose is connected to the nebulizer at the other end to avoid confusion with other hose systems.

2. Remove the nebulizer from the holder and hold it vertically.

3. Make sure all parts are securely connected together.

4. Turn on the compressor.If you suspect a device defect (e.g. after a fall or if you smell burnt plastic), switch off the compressor immediately and pull the power plug out of the socket.

5. Ensure aerosol is generated before initiating therapy.

End therapy

To stop therapy, do the following:

1. Turn off the compressor.

2. Put the nebulizer back into the holder on the compressor.

3. Remove the power plug from the socket.
