MucoClear 3% inhalation solution

The MucoClear 3% inhalation solution is a hypertonic saline solution that gently and effectively dissolves mucus in respiratory diseases with heavy secretion production.It is particularly used for cystic fibrosis, acute viral bronchiolitis and bronchitis and is suitable for infants, children and adults.The solution is sterile and contains no preservatives.

Application

The inhalation solution is used in an ampoule (4 ml) 2 to 4 times daily, as needed.It can be used with jet nebulizers, ultrasonic nebulizers or membrane nebulizers.It is important to follow the instructions for use of the respective nebulizer.

The inhalation solution should only be mixed with other medications after consulting a doctor, as chemical interactions cannot be ruled out that could influence the effectiveness of the therapy.

Notes

If you have a hypersensitive bronchial system, it should only be used as directed by a doctor.There are no data on the inhalation use of hypertonic saline during pregnancy.Opened or damaged ampoules, discolored or cloudy solutions should not be used.Due to the lack of preservatives, opened ampoules must be disposed of immediately for hygiene reasons.The inhalation solution should be kept out of the reach of children.

Ingredients

1 Ampoule (4 ml) of the inhalation solution contains 120 mg sodium chloride.The other ingredient included is water for injection purposes.

Area of application

The MucoClear 3% inhalation solution is used to increase secretion mobilization in the respiratory tract when mucus solidifies.This includes conditions such as cystic fibrosis, acute viral bronchiolitis and bronchitis.The osmotic effect of the solution helps to loosen the mucus and have a beneficial effect on the course of the disease.
