Rotasept is a ready-to-use solution specifically developed for the disinfection and cleaning of rotating instruments.The preparation is based on a combination of alcohols and potassium hydroxide and is ideal for the care of drills, milling cutters, diamond grinders and other precise rotating tools.

The outstanding features of Rotasept include its comprehensive effectiveness, which is also directed against polio viruses.The solution is suitable for ultrasound and significantly shortens the exposure time.It is also characterized by very good material compatibility and effective corrosion protection.

Application instructions

Rotasept is used undiluted.To prevent dirt from drying on, the instruments should be placed immediately in the borer bath solution.It is important not to mix the solution with other cleaning products.After removal from the solution, instruments should not be rinsed with water to avoid rust formation.Instead, they should be placed on a cellulose cloth using tweezers and left to dry.

Insertion time

The recommended soaking time is 15 minutes.Longer exposure times should be avoided.The solution used should be renewed daily.Alkaline and alcohol-sensitive plastics, aluminum parts and instruments processed with synthetic resin adhesive should not be placed in Rotasept.

Special Notes

Wearing gloves is mandatory when handling disinfectants.The solution should not be stored above room temperature.No prescription is required for this product.

The solution should be stored in a tightly closed container.It must be protected from frost, heat and direct sunlight.Storage should be in the original container at room temperature.

Application concentration and exposure time

According to the DGHM/VAH-list, the exposure time for undiluted disinfection is 15 minutes.For bacteria and fungi (C. albicans), the undiluted exposure time is 5 minutes, both with normal use and with ultrasound.According to EN 14 476, virucide is effective after just 1 minute when undiluted.

Composition

100 Grams of Rotasept contains 1.6 grams of potassium hydroxide, 10 grams of 2-propanol and 0.1 grams of 2-ethylhexanol.
