Cutasept F solution is a colourless propanol-based skin antiseptic used before punctures, injections and surgical procedures. It consists of propan-2-ol and has a comprehensive and rapid effect. The solution is well tolerated and is also suitable for hygienic hand disinfection. During application, the affected skin area should be sufficiently wetted and the exposure time should be observed. Cutasept F is effective against various germs, bacteria, fungi and some viruses. Pregnant women and nursing mothers can use the product under medical supervision. However, it should not be used in the immediate vicinity of the eyes. There is insufficient information available for infants and young children.
