The periodontal mouth ointment contains the following active ingredients: lidocaine, sage leaf extract and chamomile flower extract.The other ingredients are mint oil, propylene glycol, potassium carbonate, silica sol 1430, hyetellosis, chlorophyllin-copper complex, trisodium salt and purified water.

Contraindications

The medicine must not be used if you are hypersensitive to the active ingredients or any of the other ingredients.

Dosage

Apply the ointment to the affected area three to four times a day with a clean finger or cotton swab and massage gently.Use the ointment until the inflammation or wound has completely healed.If symptoms do not improve after 5-7 days or even worsen, please consult your doctor or dentist.

Intake

In the dental practice, the wound area is treated and an appropriate amount of gel is applied.For home use, unless otherwise prescribed by the dentist, a pea-sized amount of gel is applied to the painful or inflamed area with a cleaned fingertip three to four times a day or placed into the gum pockets and massaged in thoroughly.Please rinse your mouth with water beforehand.

Particular caution is required when using it in patients with severe disorders of the cardiac stimulus formation and conduction system, acute decompensated heart failure and severe kidney or liver diseases.The medicine should only be used during pregnancy if strictly indicated.If used over a longer period of time, you should consult your dentist.No special precautions are required when driving or using machines.

Pregnancy

It should only be used during pregnancy if absolutely necessary.There are no controlled studies on pregnant women.Lidocaine passes into breast milk in small amounts.A danger to the infant appears unlikely at therapeutic doses.
