Salviathymol® N MADAUS is a herbal medicine that is traditionally used for mild inflammation of the gums and oral mucosa.It is also suitable for preventing such inflammations and combating bad breath.The concentrate contains valuable essential oils from sage, eucalyptus, peppermint, cinnamon, clove, bitter fennel, star anise as well as levomenthol and thymol.These ingredients have a healing, pain-relieving and preventative effect.The mouthwash is suitable for adults and children aged 12 and over and is characterized by a refreshing taste.It can also be used in combination with dental floss or an oral irrigator.

Salviathymol® N MADAUS contains essential oils from various medicinal plants that have different effects:

Sage oil has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects.It contracts the mucous membrane and thus prevents viruses and bacteria from penetrating.

Eucalyptus oil has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties.It clears the airways and makes coughing easier.

Peppermint oil has an antibacterial, circulation-promoting and antispasmodic effect.

Cinnamon oil has an antibacterial effect and promotes blood circulation.

Fennel oil relieves upper respiratory symptoms such as coughs and sore throats and has an antibacterial effect.

Star anise oil is antibacterial and expectorant.It promotes expectoration and has a mild antispasmodic effect.

Clove oil has an antibacterial effect and promotes blood circulation.

Ingredients of Salviathymol® N MADAUS: 1 g liquid (equivalent to 1 ml) contains:

Sage oil 2 mg, eucalyptus oil 2 mg, peppermint oil 23 mg, cinnamon oil 2 mg, clove oil 5 mg, fennel oil 10 mg, star anise oil 5 mg, levomenthol 20 mg, thymol 1 mg.

The other ingredients are ethanol 96%, propylene glycol, sodium dodecyl sulfate, polysorbate 80, saccharin sodium, chlorophyll-copper complex (E 141) and purified water.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients mentioned, the product should not be used.

Dosage

Adults and children over 12 years of age use 20 drops of Salviathymol® N MADAUS diluted in 100 ml of lukewarm water up to 3 times a day.This amount is enough for 3-4 rinses, each lasting about 2 minutes.The liquid should also be drawn through the spaces between the teeth.Rinsing with water is not necessary.The mouthwash can also be used as an additive in an oral irrigator.The device should be rinsed with clean water after use.

No prescription is required for this product.This medicine contains 243 mg alcohol (ethanol) per 20 drops corresponding to 31% by volume.The amount in 20 drops of this medicine is equivalent to 6 ml of beer or 3 ml of wine.
