Instructions for use of the Alvita Digital Clinical Thermometer Flexible: - The flexible digital clinical thermometer from Alvita provides fast and accurate body temperature readings. - The temperature can be displayed in either Celsius or Fahrenheit. - The thermometer can be used orally, under the armpit or rectally. - The flexible tip adapts to the shape of the body and offers greater measuring comfort, especially for young children. - The thermometer has an easy-to-read digital display. - It is recommended to disinfect the sensor tip with ethyl alcohol or a mild antiseptic agent before use. - The device switches off automatically after approx. 10 minutes to save energy. - For cleaning, the thermometer can be wiped with a dry cloth or immersed in water or alcohol. - It should be noted that temperatures measured under the armpits are generally 0.5°C lower than oral readings. - The thermometer should be kept out of the reach of children and should only be used under adult supervision. - It is recommended to seek medical advice if the child appears ill, regardless of the measured body temperature. - The thermometer must not be bent, dropped or taken apart and should be protected from direct sunlight, dust and moisture. - The battery of the thermometer is of long term use and it is advised that batteries should not be disposed of in household waste.
