Instructions for use for Betaisodona mouth antiseptic, 100 ml
Product description
Betaisodona mouthwash solution is an antiseptic that kills 99.9% of relevant germs. The active ingredient povidone-iodine ensures this germicidal effect. The solution is used exclusively in the mouth and throat and has a pleasant taste and is well tolerated.
Area of application
Betaisodona oral antiseptic is a germicidal agent for use in the oral cavity. It is used once for antiseptic treatment before surgical procedures, especially in patients with disorders of the body's own immune system, in order to prevent local wound infections. It is also used in patients at risk of inflammation of the inner lining of the heart and heart valves to prevent bacteria from entering the bloodstream. It is used repeatedly and for a limited period of time to prevent radiation-related inflammation of the oral mucosa in patients receiving radiation therapy or combined radiation and chemotherapy.
Mode of action
Betaisodona oral antiseptic contains the active ingredient povidone iodine, which, in diluted or undiluted form, develops its germicidal effect when gargling and rinsing. It is effective against bacteria, fungi, spores, viruses and certain single-celled organisms (protozoa).
Active ingredients / ingredients / ingredients
The mouthwash solution contains 75 mg povidone-iodine and 7.5 mg iodine per ml. Other ingredients include citric acid, anhydrous, disodium hydrogen phosphate, ethanol, glycerol, levomenthol, methyl salicylate, sodium hydroxide, saccharin sodium 2 water and purified water.
Application
To prevent surgical procedures, Betaisodona mouthwash is kept in the mouth for 30 seconds and then spit out.For long-term treatment, the mouthwash should be used diluted, with a mixing ratio of 1 part Betaisodona mouthwash and 4 parts water being recommended. The solution should always be freshly prepared, preferably with tap water, and used as soon as possible. It is used after meals and kept in the mouth for 3 minutes. It should be noted that the oral antiseptic should not be swallowed.
Can you gargle Betaisodona mouthwash solution?
The solution should be kept in the mouth and rinsed. To avoid swallowing the solution, you should not necessarily gargle it.
What should you pay attention to when using Betaisodona mouthwash solution?

When should Betaisodona oral antiseptic not be used?
