Product features

The Bosotherm Basic is a digital, high-precision clinical thermometer in the usual Boso quality.It is 100% waterproof and has a memory for the last reading that is displayed when turned on.This allows for a simple and quick comparison of whether the temperature is rising or falling.An alarm signal is sent in the event of a fever, as well as after the minimum measurement period has ended.The clinical thermometer is delivered in a practical transparent case.

Area of application

Various types of measurements are possible with the Bosotherm Basic clinical thermometer.For an oral measurement, insert the thermometer into one of the two heat pockets under the tongue for at least 60 seconds so that the heat sensor has good tissue contact.Close your mouth and breathe calmly through your nose so that the air you breathe does not influence the measurement result.A normal body temperature is measured between 35.7-37.2 °C.

For a rectal measurement, carefully insert the thermal tip of the clinical thermometer 2-3 cm deep into the anus for at least 60 seconds.This measuring method is particularly safe and suitable for infants and small children.A normal body temperature is between 36.2-37.7 °C.

For an axillary measurement, place the thermometer under your armpit for at least 100 seconds.This measurement method is the most uncertain and often leads to inaccurate readings.A normal body temperature is between 35.2-36.7 °C.

Notes

For hygiene reasons, the Bosotherm Basic Thermometer should be disinfected after each use.
